Butler & Young Ltd offers an extensive range of professional services to the construction industry. These services are offered with an alternative approach to Building Control.

We believe that this alternative approach is characterised by:

• A service level in excess of that set out in the publication 'Building Control Performance Standards' and to which we have agreed to follow as a minimum standard.
• Compliance with the Building Regulations in the most cost effective manner, frequently resulting in considerable savings to the construction cost.
• The identification of over provision to meet the requirements of the Building Regulations as well as under provision.
• No sub-letting of any part of our service, our Building Control Project Managers are backed up by other companies within the Butler & Young Group.
• Staff, widely experienced in all aspects of the Building Regulations and the Local Acts, e.g. Section 20 of the London Building Act.
• Staff, who whilst working with design teams and attending meetings, will help to ensure that abortive works during preparation of the drawings is kept to a minimum.
• Receipt of drawings electronically, thus reducing paper, and the time taken for checks to be made.
• A single point of contact for all queries or assistance.
• A Quality Assured service to ISO 9001.
• A customer care policy.
• A comprehensive complaints policy.
• Reviews at Director level to ensure sufficient resources are being deployed, customer satisfaction is being achieved and problems minimised.
